Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. Thank you! The Extension is a faith based, 12 step, recovery program for both men and women. The residential program has Marietta facilities on Church St. Extension for the men and Holiday St. for women. North Cobb Rotary has provided dinner on a monthly basis for going on 15 years. It is a chance to get to know your fellow members in service as well as provide some encouragement for the men and women in recovery. Residents are required to gain employment during their residence and they receive counseling, job preparation and life skills in addition to the recovery process. This is an opportunity to get to know your members and be an encourager to these residents as they transform their lives. | 10 7:15 State of the City of Acworth Mayor Tommy Allegood will join this morning to update us on all the great happenings in the City of Acworth | 11 | 12 7:15 Volunteer: Lucky Dog Walk Bring your two-legged and four-legged friends and meet us at The Stone Summit located at 2801 George Busbee Pkwy, Kennesaw, October 12th at 8:00 am (registration 7:00 am) for The Lucky Dog Walk For Recovery. Enjoy a 5k walk along the Noonday Creek trail to raise awareness in our community about addiction and homelessness and to show support for those in recovery. Then, meet us back at The Stone Summit for great music, food, and prizes! This is a fundraising event that raises not only funds but also awareness of addiction in our community and the resources and connections that are available. This is a way to give hope to others still dealing with addiction, as well as their family and loved ones that there is help out there and people who care.
