Human Trafficking Grant Opportunity
Join RCNC & RAGAS to Educate our Communities to Fight Human Trafficking

The Rotary Club of North Cobb is sponsoring a grant application for $1,000 in funding from Rotarian Action Group Against Slavery.  The beneficiary of this grant would be Rescuing Hope, a Cobb County based non-profit with the mission to enlighten, educate and empower communities in the fight against Human Trafficking. We seek an additional $2,000 in funding to combine with the grant and RCNC funds to total $4,000.  These funds will provide educational materials and travel expenses for the Rescuing Hope team to visit District Clubs, as well as other business and civic organizations to spread this word.  Contact Hicks Malonson from RCNC at hicks.malonson@harrynorman.com for more info.  And visit https://www.rescuinghope.com/ to learn about their mission.

Rescuing Hope is a local organization, worthy of our support, as it raises awareness and fights trafficking. I humbly challenge all Rotary Clubs to join with the North Cobb Rotary Club in financially and physically supporting this important work, and contributing toward educational materials! Together, we can accomplish so much!

RC of North Cobb County GA has supported Rescuing Hope with our time and our money for several years. Leadership at RH have high integrity and do great work for all of Atlanta, rescuing mostly young women but some young men as well. Sex slavery exists in our backyard although many are reluctant to discuss this subject. I challenge our friends in the Cobb County Rotary Clubs to help us out and throw some money in to help Rescuing Hope. It's ok for clubs outside of Cobb County to help as well. Thanks in advance for your support. Dave Schwickerath daveschwick@gmail.com 678-414-0430
