11 | 12 | 13 | 14 6:30p Volunteer: Women's Extension Dinner Volunteers need to bring sides for 30 people, serve dinner, and cleanup. The Extension is a faith based, 12 step, recovery program for both men and women. The residential program has Marietta facilities on Church St. Extension for the men and Holiday St. for women. North Cobb Rotary has provided dinner on a monthly basis for going on 15 years. It is a chance to get to know your fellow members in service as well as provide some encouragement for the men and women in recovery. Residents are required to gain employment during their residence and they receive counseling, job preparation and life skills in addition to the recovery process. This is an opportunity to get to know your members and be an encourager to these residents as they transform their lives. They have invited us to help support their Annual Fall Festival, a wonderful community event that welcomes approximately 1,000 attendees for a day filled with fun, games, activities, and plenty of fall festivities! There are many volunteer opportunities available—just check out the available slots below. If you have the time, feel free to sign up for more than one volunteer position!
