Supper reception honoring District Governor Andre Marria.  Location: Prochaska home: 411 Laurian Way, Kennesaw.  Board members will share a meal and hear her plans for NCRC. The Board will each tell her about what we hope to accomplish in our role.

The Extension is a faith based, 12 step, recovery program for both men and women.  The residential program has Marietta facilities on Church St. Extension for the men and Holiday St. for women.  North Cobb Rotary has provided dinner on a monthly basis for going on 15 years.  It is a chance to get to know your fellow members in service as well as provide some encouragement for the men and women in recovery.  Residents are required to gain employment during their residence, and they receive counseling, job preparation and life skills in addition to the recovery process.  This is an opportunity to get to know your members and be an encourager to these residents as they transform their lives.

NCRC monthly board meeting @ Copelands and via Zoom

We invite you to an Orientation meeting on Tuesday, August 22 at 6:00 pm at Dave and Jenni Schwickerath’s home at 5146 Burnt Hickory Rd NW, Kennesaw. Show up at 6. Spouses and significant others welcome. We’ll feed you and provide beer, wine, water and soda.  *This is the rescheduled date from July 19th. 

If you have already attended an orientation, no need to come, but you are welcome to come. We will get to know each other better, talk a little bit about the why each of us are in Rotary, discuss how North Cobb Rotary works, talk about the fifty charitable organizations we support, how club grants work and a little bit about Rotary International. We’ll adjourn at 8:30 sharp.
