Peace Pole Installation at Swift Cantrell Park

The NCRC partnered with the City of Kennesaw to install a peace pole at the popular Swift Cantrell Park. The city posted and shared this message:

"Yesterday, the City of Kennesaw unveiled a Peace Pole at Swift-Cantrell Park, a new symbol of our community’s commitment to peace and unity. ?

Painted by Devereux Georgia Program Manager David “JD” Hurlock, along with Devereux students, the pole displays the message “May Peace Prevail on Earth” in English, Spanish, and Cherokee, reflecting Kennesaw’s history and community.

We appreciate North Cobb Rotary’s partnership in bringing this meaningful addition to our city."

Partner Involvement
The City of Kennesaw was the partner for this project, and their role was to select the venue (Swift Cantrell Park) as well as select the details for the peace pole including the many graphics and languages.
