The Rotary Club of Harris County joined the annual Pine Mountain Christmas parade for the first time in 12 years. Jim Woods, our Sergeant At Arms and County Commissioner and PE Tammy Pierce combined several boxes of really cheesy tinsel and 10-cent bows and a trailer loaded with hay bales into a float. The members were proud. The crowd cheered -- mostly for the candy we tossed to it.
We definitely will not wait another 12 years to have this much fun.

The early birds got the hay bales. The late comers rode in the pickup. The really late comers ran along side.
